Privacy
Short version: Resoniq doesn’t have a server, doesn’t track you, and doesn’t sell anything about you. Here’s exactly what each part touches.
01The app
- Sign in with Apple. If you sign in, Apple gives the app a random identifier for your account, and the first time only, the name and email you choose to share. These are kept in your iPhone’s Keychain. They aren’t sent to us or anyone else.
- Guest mode stores a random identifier on your phone and nothing else.
- Your settings, profiles and favorites are saved on your phone so they’re there next time you open the app.
- Bluetooth is used only to talk to the Resoniq box in your car. The app remembers which box it paired with.
- Local network access is used only to send sound packs and updates to the box over its own Wi-Fi hotspot.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
You can erase all of it at any time: Settings → Account → Delete account and data. Deleting the app does the same. To stop using Sign in with Apple for Resoniq, open iPhone Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
02The box in your car
The box reads throttle position and speed from the car’s OBD port to drive the sound. It uses them right away and doesn’t store or send them anywhere. It has no internet connection and no GPS, so it doesn’t know or record where you go. Your sound settings are saved on the box itself.
03This website
- Forms (the waitlist, questions and suggestions) are delivered to us by Formspree. We get what you type, such as your email address. We use it to answer you and to tell waitlist members when Resoniq is available, and nothing else. Ask us and we’ll delete it.
- Embedded posts from TikTok and Instagram are loaded from those services, which may set their own cookies under their own policies.
- Fonts and the 3D model library load from Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which see your IP address like any website you load files from.
- No analytics or advertising cookies of our own.
04Children
Resoniq is made for drivers and isn’t aimed at children.
05Changes and contact
If this changes, we’ll update the date at the top. Questions or deletion requests: use the form on the help page.
